Turnstone Patio Centre are manufacturers and suppliers of concrete products to trade and domestic customers. Located just outside the historic city of Chester, Turnstone supply goods all over the North West.
Buying direct from the manufacturer has many advantages including: reduced prices, no third party, flexibility to change order quantities or colours and creating a better level of service all around.
We only use the highest quality raw materials from the country’s leading suppliers to give you the very best quality product possible.
Turnstone also supplies Indian sandstone paving and circles of the highest quality.
Colour Variation
The colours in this brochure are as exact as photographic and printing processes allow. We do recommend you select your colour from viewing the actual products or any samples you may have received. We do suggest that if you wish to purchase a large quantity of our products, that you do so in one order to help stray from any possibility of batch variation.
Efflorescence
Responsibility cannot be accepted for its occurrence due to the scientific reasons it does occur.
All our paving have paving anchors, which lend themselves to a number of advantages including: stop any rocking, help prevent trapping your fingers, stop any nasty oil staining marks during the curing process and help speed up the curing process by the space allowing air to flow between each slab while it is drying.
Maintenance
The paving requires seasonal cleaning to keep their appearance or whenever deemed necessary. Regular sweeping may simply be adequate to prevent a build up of debris. For algae and dirt vigorous brushing with a hot detergent was clean with water should suffice. If tree or other foliage is above then this will be required more frequently.
Health and safety
Care should be taken when handling concrete and gloves must be worn at all times, a data sheet stating guidelines on Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) can be downloaded from here.
Power washing
We advise against power washing as it speeds up the weathering effect upon the product. Also the pointing if incorrectly fitted may be blasted out and require replacing.
Suitability
